This project represents a comprehensive re-envisioning of the landmark year 2000 RPG, originally released as Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. In a distinct step away from recent series remakes, like the previously released HD-2D versions, this version embraces a unique 3D aesthetic. Locales appear to evoke detailed model sets, with characters sporting a whimsical toy-like appearance.
